Description

Nexium

Each tablet contains 20 mg of esomeprazole magnesium. It is used to treat anaerobic heart disease and certain types of stomach and duodenal ulcers caused by the presence of parasites in the stomach. It is also used for the prevention of ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. Esomeprazole should not be used for more than 2 weeks without doctor’s advice.

Esomeprazole comes as a tablet and an extended-release capsule. The capsule should be swallowed whole with food.
